Chapter 785


VVA Chapter 785 is named in Honor of John P Baca (Medal of Honor ~ Vietnam) who is a Life Member of our Chapter 785. John received his MOH for his heroic actions in Vietnam on 10 Feb,1970. President Richard Nixon presented John his Medal of Honor in 1971 at the White House.

"Welcome Home,” especially to  Members of VVA Chapter 785, which was formed in 1998 and continues to support our Veterans and their families in need as well as numerous other programs supporting our own.


VVA's goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans.

VVA is a "home of our own" - a community of fellowship with people who share your experiences, needs, and hopes for the future.

Who We Are

Founded in 1978, Vietnam Veterans of America is the only national Vietnam veterans organization congressionally chartered and exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era veterans and their families. VVA is organized as a not-for-profit corporation and is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
